The dealer-installed Roof Rack Package lets you add carrying capacity up top. Add the Roof-Mounted Swing-out Ladder Rack Package for improved access to all of your stored items. Both are designed and engineered to perfectly fit your Express.

The Express lineup features an unmatched selection of engines, starting with the Vortec 4.3L V6 with an EPA-estimated 20 MPG highway. The Vortec™ 4.8L E85 FlexFuel V8 engine comes standard on 2500 and 3500 models, giving you a real choice in how you fuel your vehicle. 2500 and 3500 also offer the 6.0L V8 or opt for the Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 on the 3500 passenger van-the most powerful diesel in its class. Available features include an automatic locking rear differential on all models and GM segment-exclusive All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) on 1500.

Hydra-Matic Transmission
The standard Hydra-Matic® 6-speed automatic transmission on all 2500 and 3500 models includes Tap-Up/Tap-Down driver shift control and auto grade braking.

Tow/Haul Mode
The innovative Tow/Haul mode system gives automatic transmissions a dual-mode shift program. This feature raises upshift points to use more of the engine's power for strong acceleration and raises downshift points to help slow your van using engine braking.
