Ronn Brock is an experienced engineer who has worked for a major oil company in upstream oil and gas production and the Army Corps of Engineers in water resources and flood control and has two wonderful grown daughters. He wrote this book to combine a practical engineer's approach with a heartfelt approach to a group of people talking about their varied understanding of life while going through an amazing adventure in the Mayan area of Southern Mexico. Future interests include writing about a young daughter's learning about the joys of math and science while going with Dad and the group on another adventure in the wilds! Ronn is semi-retired but still working on various engineering assignments and assisting small companies to get back on their feet.
