The Armored Group Introduces New Raid Equipment Van at International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference

the Armored Group (TAG) introduces their newest vehicle, the Raid Equipment Van at the recent Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Chicago.

The Armored Group (TAG) introduced one of their newest vehicles at last weeks’ International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Chicago.  The new Raid Equipment Van (REV) was primarily developed to offer a smaller, discreet platform that could rapidly deploy 4-6 operators and also house an abundance of gear. TAG also had the Ballistic Armored Tactical Transport (B.A.T.T.) onsite, which is used for deployment, extraction and medic services.

The REV is just one in a series of new vehicles that TAG has introduced, and is available on multiple platforms.  These include the GMC and Chevrolet Cargo Vans, Ford Transit, Nissan, Dodge ProMaster, and Mercedes Sprinter Vans.  Standard build is non-armored, but does have an available NIJ III/B6 armor package that can be added. Base package layout includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Real shelving accessible from rear or insider van
  • Red and white internal lights
  • Hidden LED emergency lights
  • Siren and PA system
  • Weapons locker
  • Rear HVAC system
  • Power inverter system
  • Plug in strips/outlets

“The Armored Groups’ team developed the Raid Equipment Vehicle to offer yet another solution to law enforcement and other groups requiring a high-level of safety.  We foresee the REV becoming a critical solution because of its level of protection, deployment, storage area and operational capabilities,” said Robert Pazderka, president and founder of The Armored Group.  “This vehicle is extremely versatile as it can be acquired either with armor or non-armored based on the level of protection and scenario in which it will be used.”

The Armored Group continues to partner with leaders in the tactical/security space to provide specialty vehicles to meet the unique needs of law enforcement, military, Government and others who need added security and safety.
