The Attack of the Killer Kittens

San Diego, CA, January 3, 2016 (Newswire.com) - In order to help offset some of the costs associated with production and development, the team behind Next Left Studios recently launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for their new innovative tabletop card game entitled ‘Attack of the Killer Kittens.’ 

According to Next Left Studios, the Attack of the Killer Kittens is “a card game for people who are into Killer Kittens, mayhem, Armageddon, seeing your friends cry and being the last one standing.”

At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt nine cards which signify the nine lives of a kitten and the goal is to be the last kitten left alive. Players are able to attack the lives of one another by using ‘Killer Kitten’ cards and defend themselves with ‘Hero Kitten’ cards. The card deck also includes a variety of action cards that enhance the game’s strategy. As players become eliminated, the game grows more intense and the impact of Killer Kitten becomes amplified. 

Since the Attack of the Killer Kittens Kickstarter campaign was released, it has received great reception from the public and has quickly made an unprecedented name for itself online. Next Left Studios believes that the game’s popularity is partly due to the recent resurgence of card games over video games. It appears that the company will reach their campaign goal of $10,000 before January 21, 2016. 

There are several rewards available for individuals who choose to support the game. For instance, anyone backing the campaign with $20 will receive an Attack of the Killer Kittens card deck and anyone choosing  $35 will receive the standard card deck along with the bonus NSFW deck.  Campaign backers  $100 are eligible to receive two standard decks and two collectible decks that are signed by the game creators.
