Mike D was born and raised in Boston, and got the radio bug at a very young age and was already working in radio and attending broadcasting school at 14.

J Rock was not far behind was working in radio in his teens as well.

They met at WINC 92.5 in a small market radio station in the Shenandoah Valley of Virgina in 2003, and immediately hit it off and much to the stern barkings from the station manager, began allowing each other to freely talk on the air while the other was in the studio. This was only the beginning. After many hardships and personal changes in their lives, in 2010 "The Boys" once again rekindled their friendship, and created "The Best Talk Radio Show Ever"... And effectionately named it "The Show".
