The Bristol Festival Re-launches As BRISFEST 2010!

fter two really successful years, the community festival re-launches under the new catchier name of BrisFest 2010. This is to mark the growth of the festival as it blossoms into a fully immersive urban spectacular.

See out the summer in style at BrisFest 2010, September 24-26th, one of the UK's most innovative and exciting music and art festivals. Sleeping bags and wellies not required as the festival spans the Bristol City Centre with stages in the waterfront amphitheatre and a host of indoor venues.

Over 500 bands, DJ's, artists, comedians as well as circus and cabaret performers make up the hugely varied line up, offering entertainment from drumming and street theatre to salsa shaking and graffiti, all from the South West region. BrisFest 2010 is a celebration of Bristol and South West culture, created to inspire passion and creativity by offering a highly interactive event for audiences of all ages. Come and check out the crazy wealth of talent on your doorstep.

BrisFest 2010's range of entertainment takes place across nine outdoor stages at Lloyds Amphitheatre, Millennium Square and Anchor square and is combined with BrisFest 2010's now infamous nightclub takeover of 12 city centre clubs on the Saturday night.

Sit on the fresh grass and witness out of this world art installations, lightshows, our very own 'Brystal Maze' and much more. 2010 will see the new expanded kids area with interactive workshops and themed areas including the Aztec, Industrial and Jungle Zones complete with live performers and interactive attractions.

Tickets from just £5 a day. Full line up will be released in August but check out our brand new website www.brisfest.co.uk to register for updates and find out more.
