Online, December 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The British School, New Delhi organised a UK University fair at its premise on 23 November 2012. This year over 30 universities participated including prestigious universities such as Imperial College, UCL, Kings College, University of Warwick, School of Oriental and Asian Studies (SOAS). These universities offer a wide range of subjects from Politics and Economics to Aerospace Engineering and Fashion Design. The British School is the only school in Delhi where such a large umber of prestigious universities come together every year to meet with students and parents.
The fair is an opportunity for the graduating class to finalise on their UCAS university choices. But it is also an ideal opportunity for younger students to learn about courses, subject requirements, and entry requirements at various universities. The fair attracted students from the American Embassy School, The Shri Ram School and others along with The British School parent and student community.
Ms. Naumita Chopra, the University / College Guidance Counsellor, The British School said "Our UK University fair has become a regular feature at the school. The majority of The British School students go abroad for their undergraduate studies. In the last academic year, students have joined the Yale University, Georgia Tech, UCLA, NYU in the USA and the University of Edinburgh, University of Manchester and SOAS in the UK."
