The Center for Regenerative Medicine Joins Heal the Earth Through the Arts and Pledges to Donate One Free Stem Cell Treatment a Month
MIAMI, December 5, 2017 (Newswire.com) - The Center for Regenerative Medicine joins Heal the Earth Through the Arts Foundation in offering Pro Bono treatments to patients in need during this Christmas season and beyond.
The Center for Regenerative Medicine has been on the cutting edge of new technology for the non-surgical treatments of Arthritis, Parkinson’s, to eye diseases & injuries such as cataracts, Diabetic Rhetinophy, Nerve Atrophy to Retinitis Pigmentosa. According to American Academy of Ophthalmology, “each year an estimated 2.4 million eye injuries occur in the United States. Cataracts affect more than 24.4 million Americans age 40 and older. By age 75, approximately half of all Americans have cataracts. Diabetic retinopathy affects nearly 7.7 million Americans age 40 and older.”
Starting this Christmas, The Center for Regenerative Medicine in conjunction with Heal the Earth Through the Arts Foundation, pledges to donate one Stem Cell Eye treatment a month to a patient in need. The Patient will be chosen under the discretion of Dr. Farshchian and The Center for Regenerative Medicine.
Since 2017, Heal the Earth through the Arts, Inc. was formed to stimulate, promote and develop the interest of the general public in the arts, specifically by bringing the arts to areas and population centers that are not adequately served. It will also be a platform for up and coming artists to showcase their “arts” and help fundraise awareness about the environment, the Arts and the Earth. Funds raised will then be awarded to chosen charities like The Miami Rescue Mission for the Homeless, among others.‘’
