The City of Hamilton Implements a Variety of Citywide Energy Initiatives

Online, August 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - (SAN DIEGO, CA) - Energy Digital learns about the City of Hamilton's innovative energy efficiency solutions in this month's issue. From a Corporate Energy Policy to a new economic development strategy focused on attracting clean energy firms, Hamilton is on the forefront of reducing targeting energy reductions.

Hamilton also partnered with Horizon Energy Solutions Inc. on a pilot project to design and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on the rooftops of some City-owned facilities. This project has the potential of yielding $1 million in revenue for Hamilton over the 20-year life of the project, in addition to the significant energy production, cleaner air and environmental benefits.
