The CMH Green Machine: The Revolutionary Way to Wash Your Car
Online, January 19, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The CMH Green Machine, the revolutionary waterless car washing system, which saves hundreds of litres of drinkable water per clean, has taken off since being introduced into the market.
In a country often facing severe drought, and a continent where millions subsist on less than 5 litres of water a day, the innovative design has been hailed as an environmentally friendly, cost effective and time saving option.
The new system will save 200 litres of drinkable water with every car wash and it takes only 20 minutes to complete a full clean and wax. An additional environmental feature is that the wax is made from palm kernels and is completely safe and biodegradable.
Charles Webber, head of CMH Green, said the only water required in the new system was to rinse the cloth used to remove dust and dirt from a vehicle, boat, bike or caravan.

Rather than water, a wax solution is sprayed on to a vehicle and immediately lifts dust and dirt, holding it in suspension, thereby eliminating the danger of scratching paintwork.
A micro-fibre cloth is used to wipe away excess dirt and wax. The cleaned surface is buffed with a similar cloth, leaving it polished, sealed and protected.
This waterless system has been particularly hailed on a continent where millions of people subsist on less than 5 litres of water a day.
"Statistics have shown that in 10 years more than 1-billion people in Africa will live in conditions of severe water scarcity." Webber said. "By encouraging South Africans to take positive steps in their everyday lives, not only will Waterless Car Wash help save water, but also save the planet."
The CMH Green Machine system has initially been introduced in CMH dealerships throughout South Africa. The company washes approximately 2200 vehicles around the country each day - giving a saving of 440 000 litres of water daily.
