The Comedy Shrine Brings Back Popular New Year's Shows To Celebrate The New Year With Laughs

Online, December 15, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Naperville, IL-The Comedy Shrine in downtown Naperville is continuing their tradition by offering comedy shows on New Year's Eve for the third year in a row. Fans of comedy can choose from a variety of New Year's shows to attend, which are all "Whose Line" improv shows and each includes a New Year's celebration when the show is over.

"We've expanded the number of New Year's shows this year because of the success of last year's shows. The family show sold out within a week last year," says The Comedy Shrine owner, David Sinker. "These shows are a great, fun way to kick in the New Year with friends and family."

The fun starts at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 31, 2009 with the first Family Show, where families can bring their kids and have a mock New Year's celebration after the show. The second children's show also includes a mock celebration and starts at 6:30pm. Prices for the children's shows are $15.00 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-16. Both children's shows require a one drink minimum purchase.

The first adult show, which costs $25.00 for adults 16 and over, begins on New Year's Eve at 8:00pm and also includes a mock New Year's celebration. The final adult show starts at 10:15pm and costs $32.00 for adults ages 21 and up. This show includes a midnight champagne toast to celebrate the New Year. Both adult shows require a two drink minimum purchase.
