The First Corporate Summer Camp Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Launches
Online, September 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - A new kind of employee benefit is turning car pooling into quality time with the children. Corporate summer camps will be coming to a workplace near you. Hi-Five Sports Clubs is turning its twenty years of expertise in providing fun and challenging sports summer camps into the latest way for employers to reward their employees. It's a new category of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and it fills the age gap in benefits for those with children ages 5 through 12 years old.
"Figuring out a balance between children enjoying their summers and parents' work schedules is a challenge for just about anyone with kids," said Ryan Tuchman, CEO of Hi-Five Sports Clubs, Inc. "At the same time we see such amazing facilities sitting idle during the work day in corporate America. We thought a summer camp at work would be amazingly convenient and great for kids."
Hi-Five Sports Clubs is launching Hi-Five At Work. It is taking its tried and true summer camp curriculum and adapting it to be produced at the facilities and grounds of private employers. In the past, employees have had to use sick time, vacation days and flex scheduling to get their children to summer activities. Now it can be as easy as belting in their special passengers right alongside them as they go to and from work.
"I've personally found it an amazing benefit for myself to have my own children take part in our traditional sports summer camp. I simply drop them off before work and then pick them up on my way home," said Seth Temko, President of Hi-Five Sports Clubs, Inc. "When we discussed a business model where companies can work within their existing operating budgets with no special spending needs, I knew we had to bring this benefit out to the marketplace."
Hi-Five At Work is a complete outsourced model in which Hi-Five Sports Clubs has a dedicated team to work closely with companies to provide a high quality, extremely convenient and highly affordable summer camp directly to their work locations.
"This is the first EAP benefit of its kind," said Temko. "We partner with schools, cities, parks and private facilities already. We can easily adapt what we do to deliver a great summer camp on a company's grounds."
