Online, April 16, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Orlando, FL - April 16th, 2010 - Fifth Sun Concepts in collaboration with Bahhari and Bachata Sensation are presenting the first ever Latin Dance World Congress, May 13th-16th in Orlando, FL!
The Latin Dance World Congress (LDWC) is a four-day event celebrating the unique art form of Latin dance. The Congress gathers dancers, teachers, and performers from across the United States and abroad. At the Congress, these Latin dance enthusiasts take classes from world-class Master Teachers on all of the styles of Latin dance, Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Flamenco, Zouk, as well as the new featured classes; LatinJamm a Ballet/Jazz Dance Motion class for posture and grace and LatinCardio.
Attendees will also observe performances by internationally known dance companies, witness the judging of new Latin dance choreography in competition for the prestigious LDWC Bahhari Award, and discuss any topic of interest to Latin dancers, both in formal panel discussions and amongst themselves.
The event will begin Thursday, May 13th with the official kick-off party at the International Palms Resort in Orlando, FL. The resort features a spacious 10,000 square-foot Florida Ballroom that is perfect for dancing the night away! The International Palms Resort is also located just minutes away from Orlando's greatest attractions including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and the Kennedy Space Center!
Beginning Friday, May 14th, there will be workshops at the resort featuring internationally known instructors from dance companies such as Bachata Caliente, Absolute Tango, Island Touch, Salsa Synergy, Alborea Dances, Elegant Rumba, Salsa Heat and many more! Workshops will be held all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday along with an evening showcase of performances by the master faculty each night.
