The First Thirsty Quaker Homebrew Contest
The Thirsty Quaker, the only homebrew supply shop in Hudson County, also selling craft beer, wine, and spirits, is holding its first homebrew competition.
Online, March 30, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Thirsty Quaker, the only homebrew supply shop in Hudson County, also selling craft beer, wine, and spirits, is holding its first homebrew competition.
To enter, homebrewers must bring at least one 12 oz. bottle of their brew along with recipe and contact information to The Thirsty Quaker at 492 Monmouth St. in Jersey City during business hours. All recipes must be in partial mash or extract form. All-grain brews are accepted but must be accompanied with a partial mash or extract version of the recipe. The contest deadline is July 1st, 2014. The Thirsty Quaker staff will pick three winners, and the winners' brews will be featured as partial mash or extract kits to be sold at The Thirsty Quaker. Winners will be credited and featured on their recipe kit and will receive a free ingredient kit of their choice as well as a $25 gift card to The Thirsty Quaker.
