The Florida Writer's Association Presents The Third Annual Nonfiction Mini-Conference Saturday, June 27, 2015, starting at 8:30 AM At the Hilton Orlando/ Altamonte Springs

The Florida Writer’s Association will present the Third Annual Nonfiction Mini-Conference on Saturday, June 27, 2015, starting at 8:30 AM.  Taking place at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs (350 Northlake Boulevard), the conference gives writers and authors effective writing tools, tips on how to find a good literary agent, how to make money writing and social media marketing.  Speakers include an array of publishing veterans including Jennie Jarvis, Leslie Salas, Larry J. Leech II, Suzanne and Shawn Kuhn, John Hope, Robert Caggiano and Sharon Keeble.

Jennie Jarvis is an award-winning author, screenwriter and filmmaker.

As an Associate Course Director in the English Department at Full Sail University, Leslie Salas teaches English Composition and Creative Writing.

For more than thirty years, Larry J. Leech II has written and edited in a number of capacities. He spent the first twenty-three years at daily newspapers and magazines.

Suzanne Kuhn is a sought after national speaker, a retail columnist, and the founder of SuzyQ, a full-service author promotion firm that works with authors, publishers, and literary agents, providing coaching, training, and brand development as well as coordination of live events.  Shawn Kuhn joined the SuzyQ team in 2011. As the co-owner and vice president of a bargain book chain for more than 25 years, he has bought and sold millions of books over the course of his career.

John Hope is an award-winning short story, children’s book, middle grade fiction, and non-fiction history writer.

Robert Caggiano has worked in the book publishing industry for more than eleven years. He has held every position from proofreader and copyeditor, to editor and production manager.

Sharon Ward Keeble has been an international journalist for more than two decades, specializing in articles about real-life people for a wide variety of national daily newspapers and weekly women’s magazines in the UK, US and Australia.

Registration for the Third Annual Nonfiction Mini-Conference is $79 for FWA members and $99 for non-members.  Fee includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks.  The last day to register online at https://floridawriters.net/shop/nonfiction-mini-conference/  is June 24.
