The Global Success Club Announces the Strategic Investment Summit: USA in Frankfurt Am Main

Senior executives from some of Germany's leading manufacturing companies will gather in Frankfurt am Main to discuss best-practice strategies for launching or expanding R&D and manufacturing operations in the U.S. and share their lessons learned with the decision makers of mid-sized firms looking to gain ground in the market.

The Global Success Club, a business-to-business network, exclusively focused on the senior executives of innovative, international companies from around the world, announces that the “Strategic Investment Summit: USA” will take place on September 29, 2015 at the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. The Summit will be held under the patronage of the Minister-President of the German State of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, and the Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main, Peter Feldmann. The partners include the German arm of SelectUSA and the Consulate General of the United States in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

“Besides being one of the top locations in the world for foreign investments, the United States is also known for its innovative capacity,” said Işınay Kemmler, Chief Executive Officer of the Summit organizer, the Global Success Club. “The Summit provides a key platform for executives of innovative manufacturing companies to engage with both domestic and international business experts on the business and investment opportunities available in this premier location for new business investment, specifically in research and development (R&D) and manufacturing. It will address some of the biggest questions as well as key challenges and opportunities facing these sectors in the U.S.”

The Summit will feature a number of senior level executives from some of Germany’s top manufacturing companies in interactive panel sessions that will allow them to showcase their strategies for achieving success in the U.S., share their experiences with entering the market or expanding their R&D and/or manufacturing operations, and provide practical recommendations for successful investing in the U.S.

These sessions will focus on the conditions surrounding R&D and manufacturing in the U.S., the protection of intellectual property, federal tax credits and other financial incentives, partnership opportunities with American academic and research institutions, and the possible impact of the proposed Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) on the manufacturing industry in Germany, as well as highlight current U.S. economic trends and introduce high-growth opportunity industries and regions.

The Summit will also incorporate matchmaking sessions between senior executives and representatives of city, regional and state economic development organizations to explore mutually beneficial investment opportunities.

The Summit will be opened by Ms. Lucia Puttrich, Minister of European and Federal Affairs and Representative of the State of Hessen to the Federal Government, and Dr. Lutz Raettig, Member of the Frankfurt am Main City Council and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Morgan Stanley Bank AG.
