The GMR Difference: Helping America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins Find Homes
Want an easy and affordable way to diversify your investments? Or perhaps you want to add some beautiful and unique coins to your collection? The America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins are perfect for both!
The Woodlands, Texas, February 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Silver is by far one of the most affordable precious metals on the market, making it a great way to diversify your investments; and one of the best ways to add some silver to your collection is through the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins released by the U.S. Mint. The Coins are each five troy ounces of .999 fine silver, and feature an enlarged quarter design on the Obverse and a design emblematic of our Nation’s most treasured national parks and sites on the Reverse.
The American the Beautiful Silver Bullion coins are the first of their kind released by the Mint: at 3 inches diameter they could easily take up the palm of a grown man’s hand. Each coin has a face value of a quarter dollar; though the face value is symbolic because the intrinsic value of the silver is much higher. “It’s a truly unique way of investing in Silver. We just sold a few to a client, and they are ecstatic about having them in their collection!” says Charles Stevens, Director of Operations at GMR and coin aficionado, “Not only do the coins have value in their silver content, which is a literal handful, but the designs are really beautiful as well.”

Since the program began in 2010 there have been 5 coins released each year in the order that the state park or site was established. The first coin in the series was the Hot Spring National Park Silver Bullion Coin and features a design depicting the façade of the Hot Springs National Park headquarters: the park was founded in 1832 in order to conserve the water from the 47 spring that emerge from Hot Spring Mountain. The last coin is scheduled to be released in 2021.
Each coin in the series has its own unique history and design and could be a perfect gift, or memento for any lover of our Nation's natural wonders.
