Due to the success they had last year, The Grit City Podcast is excited to continue the Third Thursday Comedy Showcase at The Acme Tavern into 2016.

Under new ownership, renovated and reopened in 2014, The Acme Tavern has become a newly found hideaway for people looking for drinks and great service. Now it's becoming a monthly venue for Pacific Northwest comedians to showcase their skills in a casual, intimate environment.

Started early in 2015, 3rd Thursday Comedy has become the monthly “must attend” after-hours addition to the 3rd Thursday events in downtown Tacoma. With a rotating crew of well known Pacific Northwest comedians in an intimate casual enviornment.  This show is like a monthly hangout with hilarious family and friends rather than a show in a stuffy club with over priced drinks. The Grit City Podcast is excited to carry this event and partnership into 2016.

Show starts at 8:30, there is no cover charge. 21+ Only. Drink and food specials.  Come early, seating is limited and fills up fast.
