'The Herald of War - The World Upside Down' by Vladimir Kush
LAS VEGAS, March 26, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Premonition or Intuition? In the year 1987, Vladimir Kush painted “The Herald of War – The World Upside Down” (Oil on Canvas, Size 47”x 39”). As Kush stood in front of that window at a very young age while visiting his relatives, he possibly foresaw what we are dealing with today in the world. Years later, he brought back that memory to his canvas through a “Metaphorical Journey” of his own. The work of the Artist provides an arresting insight into the future.
This is the window screen, with the world projected on it. We see this world through the eyes of the boy. There is a connection between the human and the bat. They are related, and yet so opposite.
The bat returning home on the background has fulfilled its program and left the time-bomb in the world of humans, who were claiming superiority in the Universe. Now the Bats are reigning this world on the screen, abandoned by humans. We can only imagine this “world upside down”! The new Coronavirus has become such a “time-bomb”. This virus originated from the bat and became dangerous for humans.
“The situation with the spread of Coronavirus in the world is actually a rehearsal for biological warfare, which shows how the world's health is ready for such challenges,” according to the President of the Union of medical community “National Medical Chamber”, Dr. Leonid Roshal.
Kush’s American odyssey began in 1990 when he chose not to return home and flew to Los Angeles. His first few years in the United States required a lot of perseverance and hard work. Finding oneself, the ebb and flow of artistic ideas, and the search for a style of your own is a long and winding path that remains hidden from the public eye. It runs in the dark, like the inner workings of the mind – the depths of subconscious – and must mature like a chrysalis on its way to becoming a butterfly. This is a critical stage of development during a formative time in the life of an artist.
Through hard work and talent, he became the founder of a new branch of art: “Metaphorical Realism,” which is showcased throughout the world and in his own galleries in Las Vegas, Maui and Laguna Beach. He transformed himself from a struggling artist who earned his living by drawing portraits on the beaches of Santa Monica, to a World-recognized, Multi-Award Winning Unique Artist, expanding beyond the canvas to Sculptures and Jewelry and a Successful Entrepreneur.
