Following his 9 year journey as Stanley James the artist, he recognized the need to reinvent himself in order to make his persona fresh for a new generation. Thus, the emergence of Saint Jaimz. "The trials, experiences, and struggles I lived through in the music bizness during my 9 year journey as Stanley James, has prepared me for the purpose and mission ahead as Saint Jaimz; which is to deliver muzic with purpose back to the masses". Hiz sensitivity extends beyond the predictable "I wanna sex you" love songs that saturate most radio and video media these days. He says, "I write "LIFE" songs not "LOVE" songs".

Though he is primarily self-taught, he took vocal lessons from renowned vocal coach, Lena McLin of Chicago (former music coach of R. Kelly). Citing hiz most influential singers as serious crossover soul crooners Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, Eric Benet and Brian McKnight, Saint Jaimz gravitates to music that moves you.

St. Jaimz has been performing since he was 5 years old. He started in the Baptist church where hiz Grandmother Betty Williams was a soloist who exposed him to the likes of Sam Cooke and Otis Redding; she was his greatest influence. A byproduct of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago he performed in a production of 'Raisin', worked with renowned choir director Alvis Moore, performed for the Honorable Archbishop Desmond Tutu at an African Children's Fundraiser; but it was hiz performance of George Benson's‚ 'On Broadway'‚ that earned him the ovation that sealed hiz fate. Most poignant of Saint Jaimz' testimonies is the night he sang at The Sugar Bar in New York and wowed an audience that included Melba Moore, Stephanie Mills, El DeBarge and Freddie Jackson. Due to exposure in other Countries, he also has a fervent following in Europe and Japan. Saint Jaimz's song "Like Yeah" was licensed for the Sony-Tri-Star film "Not Easily Broken" and used in the nationwide trailer.

He has independently released four albums: I'm Not the One (2002), Household Name (2004), All of My Life (2005) and In 2007, Saint Jaimz (then known as Stanley James) released the CD entitled "Full Circle" teamed with Industry veteran Michael Sutton of Little Dizzy Records. The album is a compilation of songs that tell a story of love, loss, and survival. 2010 marks the highly anticipated release of his fifth CD entitled "Luv Iz A Pzycho" (cy-cle).
