The Jimmy Jax Pinchak Band Is Releasing Their First CD "Make It Better" on February 4, 2014
Online, February 2, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The Jimmy Jax Pinchak Band will be releasing their first CD "Make It Better" on February 4, 2014. Besides being a professional actor (Peter Wiggin from the movie Ender's Game), Jimmy Jax Pinchak fronts his blues/rock band as singer and lead guitar player. The rest of the band consists of: Stan Nirenberg on guitar, Lael Eccard on drums, Jacob Delott on bass and Nathan Leigh on keyboards.
He is strongly influenced by artists of the late 1960s such as Cream, Hendrix and the Allman Brothers. He formed his band in late 2012 and has been performing in the Los Angeles area. Six of the eight songs on "Make It Better," are originals written by Jimmy. The CD was recorded at Westlake Studios, Los Angeles and Stagg Street Studio, Van Nuys. It was produced by Jon Fowler, mixed by Josh Mosser (Imagine Dragons) and mastered by Grammy award winner Erick Labson. "Make It Better" is being released to select college and community radio stations throughout the country. The CD will be available from iTunes and Amazon MP3 store starting February 4. It will soon be available on Gracenote, Rhapsody and Spotify. A video of the single "There Is More" will also be released on YouTube.
Music manager Martha Troup (former manager of INXS) discovered Jimmy when he performed with his prior power trio "Jax" and she has represented him ever since. More information can be obtained from the band's website.
