The Journey Ends for "Beautoxed" This Saturday

On Saturday, November 27th, "Beautoxed: A Musical Journey" will be performed for the final time at New York City's historic The Stonewall Inn. "Beautoxed" is a musical revue inspired canine Internet sensation Beau, starring Jared Philippe.

This Saturday after Thanksgiving, the musical journey inspired by canine Internet sensation Beau is scheduled to be performed for one last time at Greenwich Village's historic The Stonewall Inn. "Beautoxed: A Musical Journey", which opened in early November and stars New York-based singer-actor Jared Philippe, will be bidding the cabaret stage adieu.

Beautoxed is Jared Philippe's first outing in cabaret, though he has been a fixture of the New York nightclub scene for a number of years now and has numerous theatrical and concert productions under his belt. In the show, his rangy baritone-tenor voice caresses selections of popular music and show tunes that highlight facets of his dog Beau's character or specific instances in the dog's life (when he was neutered, for instance).

The stellar supporting cast of "Beautoxed" includes Joshua Stephen Kartes, Tanner Bollinger, Jonathan Shew, and iconic Greenwich Village female impersonator Chocolatina, Queen of the Dessert. Musical direction and piano accompaniment is by John Bronston, who along with Mr. Kartes is a regular performer at New York's legendary Duplex Cabaret and Piano Bar.
