The Joy of Life Cookbook
The joy is in doing the cooking, partaking of the food at table with family and friends and the laughs between the recipes.
Online, January 5, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Thomas Fortenberry of Midwest Book Review described it as "A very highly recommended addition to any kitchen cookbook collection." Alice Holman of RAWSISTAZ Reviewers said it was "Fun and entertaining," while Kevin Tipple of the Blue Iris Journal mentioned that it was "Good and realistic and far different from the normal cookbook." Lois Marie Gibbs of Love Canal fame just offered that it was "A great, funny cookbook." The author didn't even pay these people off. Others raved about it as well, including people he never met. One woman said, "I got a kick out of it - couldn't put it down until I finished it." We know she can be trusted because her name is Monica.
This book is the second edition of "The Read My Lips Cookbook," with a new cover, title, ISBN and preface. Chapter 9 is also new. To date, the author has taken no culinary courses and is not a chef. He loves eating and takes pride in his cooking. The web site he created and maintains, WWW.BOBCOOKS.COM, features recipes - a new one each month - reviews and excerpts of his books, recommended reading, laughs and a cancer cure link. In early 2005, he was on channel 17, a PBS station in Buffalo, for the program WNED COOKS: Q is for Quick and Easy. He had seven minutes to make the chocolate mousse from his cookbook. It was a huge hit as the people who tasted it raved and thought they were in heaven. Those in the studio were actually fighting over the dessert. That day mousse was king!
