Syndicated radio hostess Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau will feature comedian-turned ADHD advocate/motivational speaker Nick Mortensen as one of her guests on June 23rd. He'll discuss his struggles and how he uses ADHD to create unlimited success.

Syndicated radio hostess Kathleen Slattery-Moschkau will feature comedian-turned ADHD advocate/motivational speaker Nick Mortensen as one of her guests on June 23rd. Mortensen will discuss how his discovery that he had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder at the age of 29 and his subsequent research into the topic vaulted him from an anonymous also-ran in the comedy game to a headlining comedian in less than 6 months. He'll discuss the struggles he had from the frame of a person with undiagnosed ADHD, what took him so long to come to grips with the fact that he had ADHD, and his belief that ADHD can be harnessed to create unlimited success.

The Kathleen Show is a syndicated radio program that also streams live each Wednesday at 2 pm CST and is also available via podcast has featured such guests as best-selling author Deepak Chopra, Social Media sensation and win enthusiast Gary Vaynerchuk, and food crusader Michael Pollan (author of In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto).

Kathleen and Mortensen will discuss Mortensen's views on how to truly "own" ADHD: Using & refining the special gifts of ADHD to work around the obstacles inherent with ADHD, why so many people refuse to believe ADHD is a legitimate disorder and Mortensen's ongoing quest to Master ADHD, as well as his well regarded seminar series that will take place at the University of Wisconsin in the summer of 2010.

Mortensen, a former winner of "Madison's Funniest Comedian" contest stepped away from comedy mid 2009 to pursue motivational speaking with the agenda of changing the conversation in our nation about ADHD. He's been billed as "The Tony Robbins of ADHD".
