The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour - 2015 Comedy Edition - Presents Chris Distefano

Los Angeles, CA, July 21, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Monster Energy and Idol Roc Entertainment announce that their second annual Outbreak Comedy Tour will feature emerging comic Chris Distefano. The northeast-centric tour kicks off September 2nd at the Helium Comedy Club in Philadelphia and closes on September 27th in Trumbull at the Red Room @ Marisa’s.

Named as one of the “Comics to Watch” by Comedy Central at the New York Comedy Festival in 2012 and the “New Face” at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal in 2013, Chris Distefano quickly gained international recognition. He has opened up for comedy legends such as Richard Lewis, Gilbert Gottfried and Artie Lange; cultivating new fans along the way with his high energy brand of comedy. Chris made his TV debut on The Late Show with David Letterman in 2013 and the following year Comedy Central selected him as part of their stand-up series 

The Half- Hour. Currently, Chris is a cast member of Guy Code on MTV2, Girl Code and Charlamagne & Friends on MTV, and frequently serves as a panelist on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore on Comedy Central. Most recently, he was featured on Late Night with Seth Myers and will join the cast of IFC’s upcoming original hockey comedy, Benders, which premieres this October.
