The Moth Foundation Hosts Boxing Celebrities for a 'Knock-Out' Cause May 6-7

This is the first time in history that Orlando has put the spotlight on boxing ex-world champions that have come together to support those who have fought and those who are still fighting. Why? To support two main charities: Kids Beating Cancer and the Ringside Charitable Trust.

Champions Evening & A Night in my Shoes Events

The physical and mental obstacles overcome by kids fighting cancer eclipse the experience of championship boxers, both of which bear witness to the power of the human spirit. Sports legends have graciously given their time to fly 4,000 miles to help raise awareness for these kids fighting cancer. We will pay tribute to their strength and courage and celebrate their tenacity while fundraising for life-saving and life-preserving care.

May 6 will be the Champions Evening event of title-holding ex-world Champion Boxers. They will have an intimate evening discussing their journeys, and enjoy a close look at not only the generational changes in boxing but first-hand accounts of what it takes to rise to the top of the sport. What's more, the fighters will share in their own words what happens when the spotlight fades...joined by other US world champion celebrity fighters as more and more flock to this event. The Champion's Evening will be a celebration of the incredible lives of these boxers and the dedication to youth physical activity and wellness.

On May 7, the Champions and their parties will join us as honorary guests along with a Kids Beating Cancer survivor at the upscale gala "A Night in my Shoes," providing an exciting night of live music, and great causes as guests enjoy themselves at this once-in-a-lifetime gala pitched to be "Orlando's Top Party Gala of 2022." Our number one priority is to have a fantastic evening while raising funds for two incredible charities, Kids Beating Cancer and the Ringside Charitable Trust. Live performances from Orlando-based Michael Andrew & The Atomic Big Band, Gerry Williams and his band, Sir Jac as Prince, Jeremy James, Billy Scadlock, Heather Chaney and an immersive atmosphere - featuring scenic design by artist Nick Comis. Casino tables and celebrity spotting, come early, stay late.
