"The Movement Challenge" Brings a Good Time with a Purpose to Memphis this Month

Her Game, Inc. is Asking Everyone to Come Out and Support Young Female Athletes at Southwest Community College

Memphis, TN--January 11, 2010. Her Game, Inc., a non-profit group dedicated to the physical and intellectual development of female athletes, is excited to announce that "The Movement Challenge" will be coming to Memphis on January 16, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The afternoon will feature some of the city's best female steppers, dance teams, and majorettes as they compete for great prizes while also raising awareness about the importance of sports to our girls and young women.

During this high-energy event, which will take place on the main campus of Southwest Community College, girls will have the opportunity to share their talents with the entire city of Memphis. Enthusiastic and vocal crowd support is essential for the success of each team, so the sponsors of the event, Her Game, Inc., are looking to pack the arena with family, friends, and anyone who wants to see a great show while supporting the young women of the community.

Her Game, Inc. is a new organization that is just beginning to make its presence known in the lives of young female athletes in Tennessee. This non-profit was founded with the intention of connecting girls between the ages of nine and seventeen through a common interest in sports. Her Game, Inc. is accomplishing this mission by developing summer camps, hosting leadership seminars that provide information about academic and professional opportunities, teaching proper training techniques, and sponsoring various methods for networking.

"The Movement Challenge" occurring later this month at Verties Sails Gymnasium is one of the networking events that Her Game, Inc. will offer in 2010. The teams of girls who will be competing on that afternoon have been working on their routines for months and look forward to sharing their talents with the greater community. While there will be awards given to those considered the best in each division, every girl who participates will be treated like a winner simply for her dedication to creating a great performance.

"All of us at Her Game, Inc. are thrilled to share our message about empowering young female athletes through the program that is coming up on January 16th," shares Danielle Buntyon, Chief Executive Officer of Her Game, Inc. "We hope that families, leaders in the community and the media will show up at Southwest Community College that day to watch some great routines and to learn more about our organization."

"The Movement Challenge" will be held at the Verties Sails Gymnasium on the campus of Southwest Community College, 737 Union Avenue. Tickets for the event are $7.00.
