For the first time in over ten years the National Association of Black Accountants will hold it's 45th Annual Convention in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. NABA re-unites, bringing education and enlightenment to those who serve in Accounting, Finance and Business. This event will be held at the Diplomat Resort and Spa June 21-25th 2016 and is open to the public and members of NABA.

NABA Convention Provides Career Growth Opportunities in Business and Accounting
Miami, FL, – For the first time in ten years, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Convention and Expo will be hosted in the Miami Florida area. The 45th annual event will bring together leaders, industry professionals, sponsors and NABA members for a comprehensive gathering with the theme "Accelerate Your Growth and Advancement". This year's convention is hosted at The Diplomat Resort & the Spa Hotel in Hollywood, Florida beginning on Tuesday, June 21, and ending June 25th 2016.
This year’s theme “Accelerate Your Growth and Advancement” will enhance career opportunities in accounting, finance and business best practices within a diverse community. Attendees who take part, network with professionals in every segment of various financial fields. In addition to learning opportunities with over 50 educational sessions, students have an opportunity to earn at least 18 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits.
The convention kicks off on Tuesday, June 21 with the Leadership Development Institute. The Convention & Expo along with special sessions takes place on June 22-24. The event concludes on Saturday, June 25 with the annual NABA Day of Service and Family Fun Day.
There are several events happening throughout the two day event. Some highlights include the“Day of Service” where local businesses target opportunities to give back to their community. The Women of NABA Network (WONN) together for personal and professional development hosting an Executive Session along with a WONN Luncheon that is by invitation only. NABA gives a scholarship away annually to qualifiying students and has donated over $10 million dollars since the onset of their program for deserving individuals.
Registration is open for the convention. The nonpartisan, nonprofit convention is Miami's largest event for black accountants and other industry professionals, attracting nearly 2,000 in attendance annually.
