Online, September 26, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Amanda's Big World Adventure announces that the next and ultimate adventure has begun - "30 Days of Adventure: He Said, She Said" which will team up a former British Special Forces Soldier and an American Beauty Queen and see how long they can survive together in Costa Rica. The two are well known to many - Gary Humphrey, the star of the Discovery Channel's hit show, Car vs. Wild and Amanda Brown, world renown traveler, photographer, and the person who actually lived the "Sex & the City" lifestyle. Together the two will spend 30 days in Costa Rica, living off the land in a rain forest, visiting a remote village to visit a shaman, all the time while trying not to kill each other. This ultimate adventure will see if two totally different personalities - the rugged individualist and the beauty queen can make a go of it and succeed. For thirty days they will brave it out in Costa Rica as the world's ultimate odd couple.
"Life is an adventure and we are told that opposites can attract," said Amanda Brown of Amanda's Big World Adventure. "For thirty days, Gary and I will put those concepts to the ultimate test. We will live life on the edge with experiences that millions only dream about but can enjoy and live by following us. I can only imagine the banter, the frustrations, and the fun that everyone will experience in watching us.
The concept of "30 Days of Adventure: He Said, She Said" was dreamt up by Brown, whose world travels and breathtaking photography of the locales that she has lived and experienced have earned her a worldwide following. Brown travels the world and lives in exotic locales as a native of the locales to fully immerse herself in the culture and lifestyle she is visiting. Now she goes a step further in the ultimate adventure. Who will crave civilization first? Who will outlast who? Can they survive without killing themselves? Is this the world's ultimate odd couple?
Gary Humphrey, the star of Discovery Channel's #1 show this season in Australia, New Zealand, India, Asia and Europe, is used to extremes. His training in the British Special Forces has made him one of the top survival experts in the world and a guest on Bear Gryll's show. From securing the survival of the BBC "Top Gear" team to the magnetic North Pole to providing protection in the volatile regions of the Middle East for Anthony Bourdain, Gary has protected and guarded some of the most famous stars in the world. This ruggedly handsome Brit is commonly mistaken for Daniel Craig, even as recently as this week while on his media junket through Europe. He is the one who provides the strength and survival knowledge for this extreme pair.
Amanda Brown lived the "Sex & the City" life. The dating game she created was written up in Cosmo in May 2007. In January 2012 she packed her bags and took off on a world exploration. 18 months and 5 countries later, she returned with fantastical stories from her months at a Himalayan monastery, the spellbinding discoveries of her European ancestry, and the whispers of ghosts in a 16th century chateau. She can no longer be tied down to one spot. This sassy Southern beauty is on the trail of the ancient Indians through Central and South America. A member of the Royal Geographical Society and the first woman to become a member of Team Railriders she is thinker of the pair who makes the connections and makes things happen.
