The Oracle's Project Manager Describes the Construction of the Gold Coast's Newest Residential Development

Grocon discusses how innovation, safety, sustainability and community were used during construction of The Oracle in the June issue of Business Review Australia

(SAN DIEGO, CA) -Project Manager of The Oracle, Dayne May discusses how Australian construction giant Grocon has demonstrated innovation, safety, sustainability and community to construct the Gold Coast's newest residential development. Grocon is also committed to raising the bar on safety initiatives, and credits its partnerships with helping them achieve this when constructing The Oracle. To facilitate the way into its new home, Grocon felt it was important to include the local community in the construction of The Oracle.

May said, "Particularly with the size of the project, we want to give something back to the community." The company implemented a community employment program that provides disadvantaged youth with jobs.

The Oracle, constructed by Grocon, is comprised of 505 luxury residential apartments between two towers spread over an entire 1.2-hectare block in Broadbeach, Queensland. The towers will be among one of the tallest buildings on the Gold Coast, with the larger structure holding 51 levels, and the smaller, Western tower is comprised of 41 levels. The towers will share 3 ½ levels of basement car parks, a ground floor retail component and two levels for commercial space.
