The Procedo Project Announces Catholic Leadership Offerings

A webinar on Reopening Schools and Remote Learning Guidelines will be the initial offering to Catholic school leaders.

The Procedo Project will launch its series of educational and timely offerings for Catholic school leaders on August 20th with a webinar focused on Reopening Schools and Remote Learning - Roadmap to Success 2020-21. This informative webinar will explore reopening guidelines and strategies developed by leading research institutions to support healthy and safe school reopening and virtual learning models. The webinar is sponsored by The Procedo Project and School Day, and will be free to participants.

The following week, The Procedo Project will launch Forefront 2020-21: Catholic School Leadership Series, a series of eight (8) leadership institutes designed to bring together innovative practice, new ideas and build a professional community among leaders who don’t want to wait and see what the rest of the world does but intend to forge ahead and set the pace for the future of Catholic education.

The Series includes eight separate Institutes, which can be attended individually or purchased as the entire Series. Each session will be actionable, practical, and responsive to issues of the moment and future-focused.

“Bringing best practices and disruptive innovation to our schools requires a team of experienced and successful educators and other professionals who are deeply committed to the mission of Catholic education. We are being very intentional in curating and developing exemplary educational offerings for Catholic school leaders. These initial offerings provide timely information for leaders to make informed decisions as they navigate uncharted waters,” stated Alex Urrea, Founder of The Procedo Project.

The Procedo Project (procedo: to advance or move forward) has been formed to work in partnership with schools and Arch (Diocese) to face new challenges, provide needed resources and build networks to help capture opportunities for advancement. It brings educators, leaders, organizations, companies and thought leaders together to enact change, rethink teaching and learning, curate content on cutting edge practices and connect like-minded school communities.

The initiative aims to support the rich tradition of Catholic education by:

  • Making schools models of innovative academic and operational practice
  • Providing immediate, relevant and timely expertise to keep schools open
  • Elevating past programmatic approaches of STREAM education to embed innovative mindset and practice within the fabric of school culture and through the lens of Catholic education
  • Helping schools move beyond surviving distance learning to planning, embedding and leading the field in quality blended learning approaches
  • Delivering world-class, professional development in remote teaching, leadership formation, social-emotional learning and many other areas.

The project formally launched last month and is expanding rapidly.
