Community Giving, a cash-back donation program, reflects the spirit of corporate giving, offering nonprofit organizations, associations and others an additional opportunity to increase revenue to support their community products, programs and services.
According to Donna Price, Community giving is a simple concept. Organizations can register to participate and share information with their members about The Real World Leader's Institute. When an individual registers for the Institute through the organization's special referral link they are credited with the referral and a donation is then made from the Institute to the organization. Ten participants gains the organization $20,000.00 to be used on a project of their choice.
"This program allows people's gifts to keep on giving", said Donna Price, President of Compass Rose Consulting and Co-Founder of the Real World Leader's Institute. "By participating, you are enriching leadership within your own community as well as gaining gifting dollars for organizations that will ultimately enhance its client-base with products, services, and enrichment programs. "
A core value of the Real World Leader's Institute is a "pay it forward" attitude. "We help to develop influential leaders who through inspired leadership create productive, collaborative workplaces with high level of employee engagement. As a result many of the organizations we work with excel in profits and are able to give back as well", notes Debora McLaughlin, CEO of Open Door Coaching and Co-Founder of the Real World Leader's Institute.
"We encourage business leaders to think outside of the box when selecting the leadership development program for their managers and leaders. We know that training itself fails to stick, according to Harvard Business Review 80% of learning is lost within six months, the Institute designed its programs to offer skills that work in the real world and within the complexities of limited resources and with today's employees and bundled it with ongoing supports to assist leaders in implementing what they learned in their unique environments," states McLaughlin.
Developing effective leadership skills is not a one-time training but a long term investment that will more than pay for itself with improved workplaces, but with the Real World Leader's Institute, the purchase goes beyond the company adding good leadership skills to their mix, it also supports a local community based organizations, giving them much needed resources for their own program development and program operations. This program also recognizes the value of the services organizations provide in our communities and includes the added benefit for nonprofits to also attend leadership training at an affordable rate as well.
Active in the community, both Price and McLaughlin have track records of supporting non profits and gift giving in various programs that benefit others. On a corporate level, Community Giving continues the spirit of involvement by both providing excellent programs and giving.
