The Revolutionary TeaBook Hits Shelves, April 3

713 Innovations, creator of The TeaBook and a specialty line of teas, announced today that its products will be available on Kickstarter on April 3, and can be purchased at TheTeaBook.com/KS.

The TeaBook launch will be celebrated at the renowned California Science Center (home of the Space Shuttle, Endeavor) on April 3, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at TheTeaBook.com/TeaParty. This event is poised to break the Guinness world record for the largest tea drinking event in history.

About the Venture

Over the last four years entrepreneurs Noah Bleich and Jeffrey Berman designed and developed The TeaBook – an innovative design that allows users to store, share, and serve tea. Noah credits the idea to his late mom, but the team made The TeaBook their own by creating a product that’s “green.” (It’s actually made of recycled and recyclable materials.) But they didn’t stop there …

The duo dreamt about manufacturing the book in the U.S. in an effort to not only to minimize the book’s carbon footprint, but to bring jobs to America. A seemingly insurmountable (a.k.a. expensive) goal at first glance, but there was a way. The team turned to the Kickstarter business model to incentivize its customers.  According to Berman, “If our customers love our product and we hit our goal, we will commit to moving manufacturing from China to the U.S.A.”
