The Ruhlin Company Offers a Peek at its Unique Operations Strategy through Building a Legacy

The Ruhlin Company aspires to continue establishing its solid foundation in the Midwestern United States.

(San Diego, CA)-In an interview with Business Review USA, Mike Ciamachella, the company's general manager of civil engineering for Ruhlin, divulges in the Company's approach to hold steady as it in three different markets: highway, industrial and commercial building.

In regards to the stimulus package, or lack thereof, Ruhlin was able to overcome the stimulus ordeal and eventually reached a level where they could apply capital expenditures towards fleet equipment. At that point they were able to expand capabilities by moving dirt or building bridges, and driving expansion through capital expenditures.

The article also discusses Ruhlin's future as Ciamachella looks ahead and describes a large bridge project in Cleveland. This $400 million design build project involves two other contractors; Trumble Corporation out of Pittsburg and Great Lakes Construction out of Cleveland.

The Ruhlin Company was founded by John G. Ruhlin in 1915and originally offered its services as a general contractor in the commercial and industrial markets of Northeast Ohio. As Ruhlin became more established, it broadened into the civil works market to include constructing bridges, roads, dams and sewers/water treatment facilities throughout the region.
