The Satirical Rockman Chronicles Is Breaking Boundries

Online, April 15, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The Rockman Chronicles, currently being developed by twin brothers Justin and Mitchell Lucas, is a satirical Science Fiction book trilogy written from the point of view of a fake author character named Ron Jockman. "What would a science fiction adventure be like if it was written by a socially inept, ignorant, egotistical author? Would this kind of thing be entertaining. Turns out, it is. Very much so." claims Justin.

The trilogy, consisting of three full length novels, is expected to be completed by early 2014. So far, the first novel of the series, John Rockman and the Trials of Galactar by the Prince of Galactar is currently being sold in ebook form at most online distributors while the second book, John Rockman and the Cosmic Brain of Corruption is about half done. Work on the third and final book of the trilogy, John Rockman and the Keys of the Void has currently not begun. "This type of book has not been seen before, so we need more time to get this done right. We realized that in order to get them to a level of professionalism that we want, as well as make sure they find their way to the people that would find them as interesting as us, we would need funding, that's why we're turning to Kickstarter," says Mitchell. "We have been working with a limited budget considering we are trying to work our day jobs to keep up with rent and student loan debt. We need help."

Kickstarter campaigns operate under an "all-or-nothing" funding model so if 'The Rockman Chronicles' campaign doesn't reach the $10,000 goal by May 10, it may be a long time before the complete trilogy will see the light of day.
