The Sheraton Downtown LA Chooses ProfitWatch To Improve Their Call Reporting Abilities

The Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown's newly remodeled hotel is located in the heart of the downtown financial district. When their existing call accounting system had become too expensive to maintain, Eric Gutierrez, Manager of Information Technology, reached out to Professional System Services (PSS) for a solution.
"They were not happy with their existing system. It didn't have what they needed," explains Marcia Suarez, President of PSS. "They wanted a newer system with more reporting details."
Suarez recommended ProfitWatch due to its ability to accurately charge back phone usage to guests, as well as its advanced reporting features such as trunk analysis tools, departmental and extension based reporting, and profit summaries. Additionally, ProfitWatch includes a customizable rate table that allows the Sheraton to run promotional discounts on guest or VIP rooms to encourage in-room phone usage.
PSS installed the ProfitWatch Call Accounting system to integrate with the Sheraton's existing NEC2400IPX system then worked closely with Guiterrez to configure the system to their specific needs.
