The Solar Alliance Foundation Seeks Year-End Financial Donations to Help Injured and Disabled Veterans
Online, December 17, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Calling it one of the greatest gifts a company or an individual can give this Holiday season, The Solar Alliance Foundation (http://www.SolarAllianceFoundation.org) is asking for year-end financial donations which it needs to support its mission of giving meaningful assistance to veterans who are injured and disabled.
"The Solar Alliance Foundation provides completely free Solar Power Electric Systems to Injured and Disabled Veterans" said foundation Director Joe Lizura, "There is no other program like ours" he added "If a Veteran is 70% disabled or more and has demonstrated a need of financial assistance, he or she can apply to have their electric bill eliminated, or dramatically reduced for the next 25 years - this is a truly an amazing foundation" he added.
In just the past few months, The Solar Alliance Foundation has installed completely free solar power systems for Disabled Veterans from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. "Our recent installations included a young Marine who had lost his leg in an IED explosion, an Army soldier who received a gunshot wound to his head, and another Veteran who is confined to a wheelchair." Joe Lizura added.
"When our foundation gives a Solar System, we are giving the gift that keeps on giving" said Artie Rose, foundation CEO, "our Disabled Veterans have given so much for each and every one of us, that it's time we made the sacrifice to give back to them."
The Solar Alliance Foundation uses each and every dollar it receives to provide free solar systems and never charges a single dime to the veteran. Donations to The Solar Alliance Foundation can be made through the foundation website or can be mailed into the foundation directly via the address on the foundation website.
"We have the ability to take every dollar we receive in donations and make it give back over and over each and every month for the next 25 years. To see the work we have done, we encourage potential donors to go to our website and see the work we do." said Lizura.
