The Southern Ideal Home Show Brings the Best in Home and Garden to Raleigh
Raleigh, N.C., February 20, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Southern Ideal Home Show, the Triangle’s largest home and garden event, is gearing up for its spring show April 10-12 in Raleigh. The three-day showcase will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and will feature more than 300 top area professionals in home and garden.
Guests are encouraged to come with their to-do lists as this year’s show will feature more ideas and solutions than ever before. The show will spotlight the latest in building, outdoor living, kitchen and bath, remodeling, interior decorating and more. There will be several specialty features including a Sip and Savor event highlighting food pairings from local restaurants, breweries and wineries and a High Performance, Green Building Pavilion that showcases the benefits of renewable energy and green building practices in the Triangle.
In addition to these exhibits, the Southern Ideal Home Show has partnered with Jamie Meares, owner of Furbish Studio in Raleigh and blogger at www.isuwannee.com for an entertaining extravaganza. Meares will present four workshops with valuable, take-home entertaining ideas during the weekend. In addition, Meares, along with other local companies, will completely transform designated areas of the show to display several different tablescapes showcasing countless decorating ideas for entertaining.
Tickets are available at the door for $9 and children under 15 are free with a paying adult. Discounted tickets will be available in advance beginning March 9 at Walgreen’s locations throughout the Triangle for a cost of $7. Friday is 55+ Day (tickets are $7 for anyone 55 and older) and Hero Day (free admission for those with active and valid military, police, fire or EMT identification). Tickets are just $5 after 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
