The Top EMBA Programs in the US Midwest Revealed in Annual Study

Notre Dame, Ohio State and Northern Illinois selected as top programs in the Midwest

Ivy Exec’s fourth annual EMBA rankings reveal top-ranked programs in the U.S. Midwest with notable program strengths in areas like career advancement, global experience and more. Michigan State, Case Western and others once again make up the best EMBA programs in the 2019 Best Executive MBA Programs – U.S. Midwest rankings, with newcomers like Northern Illinois University and the University of Nebraska recognized. Two hundred and twenty-six global EMBA programs were selected in this study of over one million executive members of the Ivy Exec community.

The Top 10 Executive MBA Programs in the U.S. Midwest are:

  1. Kellogg Executive MBA, Northwestern University
  2. Chicago Booth Executive MBA, The University of Chicago
  3. Michigan Ross Executive MBA, University of Michigan
  4. Notre Dame Executive MBA - South Bend
  5. Notre Dame Executive MBA - Chicago
  6. Purdue Executive MBA, Purdue University
  7. Michigan State Executive MBA
  8. WashU in St. Louis Executive MBA, Washington University in St. Louis
  9. Fisher Executive MBA, The Ohio State University
  10. Minnesota Executive MBA, University of Minnesota

The rankings are the result of a robust study reflecting accomplished professionals as follows: an impressive 55 percent held 20-plus years of work experience. In the remaining three segments, 22 percent had 15-20 years’ experience, 15 percent had 11-15 and lastly, eight percent had 7-10 years’ professional experience. The study intentionally excluded participants with less than seven years of work experience and entry-level titles. The Executive MBA programs were evaluated based on five key factors identified by the responded pool of accomplished professionals to determine the best EMBA programs in the U.S. Midwest region.
