The Top EMBA Programs in the US West Revealed in Annual Study
UC Berkeley, Thunderbird and UCLA ranked in top U.S. West spots
NEW YORK, March 11, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Ivy Exec’s fourth annual EMBA rankings reveal top-ranked programs in the U.S. West with notable program strengths in areas like career advancement, global experience and more. This year’s rankings once again include Loyola Marymount University and UC Berkeley as well as notable newcomer Saint Mary’s College of California recognized in the 2019 Best Executive MBA Programs – U.S. West rankings. Two hundred and twenty-six global EMBA programs were selected in this study of over one million executive members of the Ivy Exec community.
The Top 10 Executive MBA Programs in the U.S. West are:

- UCLA Anderson Executive MBA
- Thunderbird Executive Master of Global Management, Arizona State University
- USC Marshall EMBA, University of Southern California
- Michigan Ross Executive MBA, University of Michigan
- BYU Executive MBA, Brigham Young University
- Pepperdine Executive MBA, Pepperdine University
- Loyola Marymount University EMBA
- Arizona State EMBA
- Washington Foster EMBA, University of Washington
The rankings are the result of a robust study reflecting accomplished professionals as follows: an impressive 55 percent held 20-plus years of work experience. In the remaining three segments, 22 percent had 15-20 years’ experience, 15 percent had 11-15 and lastly, eight percent had 7-10 years’ professional experience. The study intentionally excluded participants with less than seven years of work experience and entry-level titles. The Executive MBA programs were evaluated based on five key factors identified by the responded pool of accomplished professionals to determine the best EMBA programs in the U.S. West region.
Other notable programs that round out the best programs in the region are Chapman University EMBA and Saint Mary’s Executive MBA.
