The Tyrica & Robert Duckett Hope Foundation Hold Their First Annual Event
The Foundation held a highly anticipated, upscale Sneaker Ball in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, December 21, 2021 (Newswire.com) - On Saturday, Nov. 13 from 4 pm - 8 pm, The Tyrica & Robert Duckett HOPE Foundation held its first annual fundraiser, The Sneaker Ball at Central City located at 4 S. Central Avenue in the heart of Baltimore, Maryland 21202. Hosted by Founders Tyrica & Robert Duckett, this event property served as a fundraiser for the organization to continue to accommodate the less fortunate in urban communities within the country and in Africa.
"We had a ball wearing gowns and tuxedos paired with flashy sneakers and it was a night to remember and a night for a cause. Funds raised will support our school supply drive, holiday doll drive, and our global initiatives in Mombasa, Kenya," states Tyrica Duckett, the foundation's President. Music for the night was provided by Baltimore's staple, Porkchop of 92Qfm.
From Nov. 8-13, the foundation also held a virtual auction where supporters bid on items all for a great cause. All proceeds will help fund the projects of TRD Hope Foundation.
"We aim to provide support, resources, and assistance to 'at risk' children and families in under-served communities," states Robert Duckett, the Foundation's Co-Founder & Treasurer.
