The Back to School Open House, however, is tailored to families of school-aged students who are interested in keeping their youngsters active, expanding their children’s social and performance skills and investing in their children’s talents, interests and futures.

The open house is an opportunity for parents and students, ages two through adulthood, to familiarize themselves with the studio and its instructors, as well as, explore the broad dance curriculum and schedules available. The event will heavily cater to school-aged students, as it includes brief dance demonstrations, refreshments and child-focused entertainment such as face painting and balloon animals. Parents will receive a studio fact sheet, schedule of classes, registration form, and a tour of the facility. Additionally, information about adult classes and an invitation to the adult open house are available for parents interested in classes for themselves.

Studio Detroit’s fall semester will commence September 14th and run through December. The term will culminate in a winter showcase scheduled for mid-December. SDDC takes its parents’ daily agenda and expenses into careful consideration by offering affordable, convenient class time slots on Saturdays and after typical working hours during week days.
