TheLemonLaw.org Launches Consumers Information Website

Online, June 3, 2013 (Newswire.com) - TheLemonLaws.org is proud to announce that its site is now online, and has begun its mission of providing free information to U.S. consumers about the federal and state warranty laws applicable to the purchases and leases of automobiles and the other household products.

TheLemonLaws.org commenced its mission by posting summaries of the Florida lemon law statute and the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (typically referred to as the "federal lemon law"). Florida consumers can click here to read TheLemonLaws.org's summary of the Florida lemon law's rules and requirements. The website has also reproduced the complete text of Florida's lemon law statute (i.e., the Motor Vehicle Warranty Enforcement Act) for consumers who want to read more about its enforcement and buyback rules.

A description of the federal lemon law's rules has also been posted.

TheLemonLaws.org has announced that it will continue to improve and add new content every week until it has information about the consumer warranty laws in all 50 states.

The Webmaster has also announced that the site has launched a blog devoted to consumer warranty news. The blog will post recent developments relating to state warranty laws, including relevant appellate court decisions and rulings and interpretations issued by the Federal Trade Commission.

THELEMONLAWS.ORG LOOKING FOR CONSUMER ATTORNEYS TO PARTICIPATE

TheLemonLaw.org has announced that it is inviting all consumer law attorneys in the United States to participate in its mission. Attorneys are requested to contribute content describing the requirements of their states' lemon and warranty laws. All contributors will receive credit for their submissions and will be cited as their article's author. The LemonLaws.org will include links to lawyer contributors' websites for consumers who have questions or who are looking for additional information.
