Therafirm Honors Nurses with Scholarship

Online, May 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Kansas City, KS--May 13, 2010-Therafirm, a brand of Knit-Rite, Inc., is awarding two nursing students a $500 scholarship each in honor of National Nursing Month.

During the month of May, Therafirm wants to reward nurses for all that they do. Nurses are caring, hard working individuals that strive to not only physically heal the patient, but also emotionally support them. As a way of showing appreciation, Therafirm is offering a $500 scholarship to one undergraduate nursing student and one continuing education nursing student each.

To apply for the Therafirm Nursing Scholarship, applicants must fill out a short application and submit a 300 word or less essay explaining why they will be a special nurse. To fill out an online application, nursing students can visit www.therafirm.com/lovenurses. Nursing scholarship applications will be accepted through June 7th, 2010. After that time, a committee within Knit-Rite, Inc will review all applicants. One undergraduate recipient and one continuing education recipient will be announced on June 14th, 2010. Funds will be awarded for the Fall 2010 Semester. ¬¬
