For that reason, Cull said the SmartSocial System is meant to provide a resource for small businesses and corporations because it not only contains guidelines for supervising social media managers, it also has a way to track whether or not they are talking to the right companies online.

Cull said companies who have in-house social media managers, interns, or new college graduates managing their social networks are great candidates for the SmartSocial System because those people often have marketing or technology experience but are usually not well-versed in relationship sales.
