Thomas Major Joins IPOfferings as Vice President in Charge of Brokerage for Larger Patent Portfolios

Online, November 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - IPOfferings LLC, a leading patent brokerage and IP consulting firm, announced that Thomas D. Major has joined the company as Vice President. Mr. Major's primary responsibility will be the brokerage of large patent portfolios. He will be based in Phoenix, Ariz.

Thomas Major has extensive experience in the buying and selling of intellectual property, technology transfer, patent licensing and patent assertion. His experience includes all aspects of IP management. During his career, he completed over IP 200 transactions.

Prior to joining IPOfferings, Mr. Major was Vice President, Licensing at Honeywell IP Inc., a unit of Allied Signal, Inc. He also held positions as Managing Director, IP Transactions at TAEUS Corporation; Vice President of Licensing at IPValue Management, Inc.; and Director of Technology Transfer for the University of Utah.

Mr. Major is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP). He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Southern Utah University, an M.S. in Chemistry from Brigham Young University, and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University. He was a Registered P.E. (Professional Engineer)
