Three Rivers Systems Names Software Exec Jami Morshed To Lead Company's Expanding Global Sales, Marketing Efforts
Has proven background of helping numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading higher-education institutions
Online, March 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Three Rivers Systems Inc. has hired a seasoned enterprise software executive to head the company's burgeoning international sales and marketing operations. Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing Jami Morshed is now in charge of executing the company's strategic plan to drive continued global revenue growth and market-share expansion.
Three Rivers Systems' flagship product is CAMS Enterprise, the disruptive technology solution reshaping the landscape of academic enterprise resource planning - or ERP - the comprehensive systems for managing the entire student lifecycle for colleges and universities.
Morshed heads the sales organization for Three Rivers Systems' entire portfolio of solution offerings, oversees the worldwide business-partner program and leads all corporate marketing functions. Morshed has more than a decade of high-level experience in the enterprise software space, working in a wide range of leadership roles driving record growth across various business market segments.
He has a proven background of helping numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading higher- education institutions deliver game-changing organizational performance by leveraging innovative technology to improve core business processes.
Before joining Three Rivers Systems, Morshed held strategic management positions at Information Builders, one of the world's largest independent business intelligence and data integration software vendors, where he had full P&L responsibilities and led the entire operations of various regions throughout North America.
He also managed key customer relationships while at TALX, an Equifax company and market leader in HR, tax and payroll-related services. Morshed graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Bachelor of Arts in international studies. His international business coursework included studies abroad at the La Universidad de Alicante, Spain.
"Many observers are calling the ERP market mature," Three Rivers Systems President and Founder Amir Tajkarimi said. "And for conventional vendors offering newer interfaces bolted on legacy technology, it is certainly a declining market."
But according to Tajkarimi, because Three Rivers Systems' solutions are built from the ground up with pure Microsoft Web technology and are designed for the modern world, they are revolutionizing academic management in higher education with advanced business analysis, mobility, easier implementation and use as well as the highest return on investment. Lumbering industry giants, he added, have created a vacuum his company is gladly filling.
"We couldn't be more optimistic about the future of ERP sales," Tajkarimi said. "And with an enterprise software expert like Jami Morshed at the helm of our sales and marketing operations, with new exciting features for CAMS Enterprise and with innovative new products in the pipeline, we are now positioned not just for growth but for potential market-share domination."
