TIEE 2013 Celebrates a Decade of Success and Continues to Promote Thailand's Education Service in the AEC

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, collaborating with over 200 international education institutes and service providers by organizing the 10th Thailand International Education Expo (TIEE 2013).

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, is again collaborating with over 200 international education institutes and service providers from both government and private sectors to further strengthen Thailand's leading position as the ASEAN's hub of international education by organizing the 10th Thailand International Education Expo (TIEE 2013). The much anticipated event is taking place during February 22-24, 2013, at the Royal Paragon Hall on the 5th floor of Siam Paragon Shopping Complex, Bangkok.

Mrs.Srirat Rastapana, DITP's Director General disclosed that: "In line with the DITP's policy in fortifying the position of Thailand's education service industry, TIEE 2013 will project the country's strengths and benefits its international education sector has to offer to target audiences. The event will also highlight Thailand's strategic location in the region's heart of trade and investment, its modern facilities and infrastructures, the people's world famous hospitality, its friendly environment, as well as reasonable cost of living."

She added that favorable factors which make Thailand a desirable destination for high quality educations are its world-class curricula being offered by top quality institutes across the country, and a wide selection of courses.

"In the previous year, TIEE represented a phenomenal success in collaboration between various education institutes from both Thailand and overseas. The number of exhibitors showed an increase of some 27% from that of 2010. The TIEE 2011 also welcomed foreign exhibitors from Malaysia, China, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, America, India, the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Germany, Russia, Austria, and Japan, etc. In addition, the fair also registered an impressive number of almost 10,000 visitors, both from around Thailand and from other countries namely China, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Cambodia, America, Malaysia, the Philippines, United Kingdom, and Laos." Mrs. Srirat said.

Being held under the theme "Live & Learn in Wonderful Thailand", TIEE 2013 will illustrate Thailand's strong image as the region's leading provider of internationally-recognized academic programs, and at the same time promote the country as the grandest arena of international education showcase of the ASEAN region.

The three-day event displays the entire spectrum of international education in all levels -- from kindergarten programs to doctorate degrees, popular short courses, and vocational courses being offered by leading academic institutions from Thailand and foreign countries such as America, Canada, Australia, India, China, Taiwan, and ASEAN countries. At the expo, parents and children can enjoy gathering in-depth information and seeking professional advices on comprehensive range of international curricula directly from specialists. They may also enjoy shopping educational products such as software, game and toy, as well as related educational services, etc.
