TIKOMED Announce Start of ALS Study at Sahlgrenska University Hospital
VIKEN, Sweden, August 14, 2018 (Newswire.com) - TIKOMED, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing therapeutics for treating acute and degenerative neurological and ophthalmic diseases, is delighted to announce that the company today has started its clinical trial (Phase 2a) in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

The study is performed at and in collaboration with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. Assoc. Professor Lennart Persson, an expert in ALS, will be principal investigator.15 patients will be treated with ILB during a 4-week period.
