Time-critical Cargo Took Advantage of Chapman Freeborn's Global Network.

Online, June 19, 2013 (Newswire.com) - When an aircraft in Entebbe met with an AOG (aircraft on ground) situation due to engine problems, Chapman Freeborn's cargo charter teams in Belgium, Uganda and Singapore worked together to complete a complicated, time-critical cargo charter.

The replacement engine was delivered to Luxembourg from Singapore on a Boeing B747F part charter and then loaded an Ilyushin IL-76 full charter that was waiting at the airport.

A charter specialist from Chapman Freeborn's Uganda office was on the ground at Entebbe to help facilitate the operation and to ensure the engine was off-loaded correctly. The IL-76 then returned the faulty engine to Zurich.
